Substructure works to a new extension to an existing store, internal and external drainage and a large extension to car park doubling its size.

The works required careful planning as the extension was to the front of the store meaning customer access was required at all times.

The car park extension entailed raising the existing ground level by 5.00m requiring 9000 tonnes of imported fill and 4.50m high reinforced concrete retaining walls.
